Silent-Aire, a subsidiary of Johnson Controls, is expanding its team and looking for a skilled Journeyperson Welder. You will engage in metal fabrication and custom prototype work, adhering to quality standards with GMAW and FCAW techniques. This position involves collaboration with lead hands and supervisors to achieve production targets in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Interpret welding symbols and procedure specifications
• Operate both manual and semi-automatic welding equipment
• Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with specifications
• Support the training of junior employees and apprentices
• Maintain detailed production records and documentation
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid Journeyperson Welder Certificate with Red Seal endorsement
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
• Experience reading blueprints and engaging in quality control
• Willingness to comply with safety standards and protocols
