Water and Sewer Construction Technician

Take on a critical role as a Water and Sewer Construction Technician, performing essential installation and labor tasks in various outdoor settings.

In this position, you will report to the project Foreman, engaging in water and sewer activities that emphasize safety and efficiency. Key duties include cutting pipe, aligning installations, and operating necessary tools and equipment. Prepare for physically demanding work involving diverse outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cut and lower pipes into construction trenches

• Align and connect pipes during installation

• Load and unload equipment and materials as needed

• Operate tools, including pneumatic hammers and tampers

• Direct equipment operators for coordinated worksite safety

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in water and sewer installation preferred

• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance

• Class 5 Driver’s license mandatory

• Certification in WHMIS 2015 and H2S Alive required

• Confined Space Entry and Fall Protection training necessary
