We are looking for experienced Mechanics (Heavy Duty or Automotive) to perform maintenance and fieldwork on our alternative fuel school bus fleet. At SOUTHLAND, you will benefit from ongoing training and competitive wages, along with a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Service and repair SOUTHLAND school buses routinely
• Diagnose mechanical issues efficiently
• Conduct necessary CVIP Inspections
• Perform preventative maintenance checks regularly
• Respond to roadside mechanical breakdowns
Requirements:
• Journeyperson Mechanic ticket required (Heavy Duty or Automotive)
• 2 - 5 years related mechanical experience
• Familiarity with school bus and diesel repair is an asset
• Valid class 5 driver’s license is necessary
• Proficient in English with strong troubleshooting skills
