We seek a licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic who is driven to excel in maintaining and repairing surface mining equipment. In this role, you will perform critical inspections, adjust machinery, and lead the commissioning of new equipment at various sites. You will play an essential role in promoting safety and enhancing performance within our innovative team structure.
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect and determine equipment faults and malfunctions
• Repair or replace defective components as needed
• Test machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Participate actively in safety compliance and improvement efforts
• Keep accurate service records and technical documentation
Requirements:
• Red Seal certification is an asset
• Minimum of 3 years related mining equipment experience
• Proficient in hydraulic and electrical diagrams
• Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and readiness to travel
