Heavy Equipment Mechanic, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Location: Nisku
Ambipar's Industrial Services division operates a large fleet of modern Vacuum, Combo, Hydrovac, Water, Gravel & Winch Units across Alberta, British Columbia & Saskatchewan. Our services are utilized on many different projects ranging from Downhole Drilling, Pipeline HDD, Day lighting and Civil Construction Projects.

What you'll do as a Heavy-Duty Mechanic:
- Lubricate, service, diagnose, repair, assemble and maintain equipment and perform other routine maintenance work
- Ensure repairs and maintenance follow all provincial and federal transportation safety regulations and guidelines
- Follow the safety program, including all policies, procedures and practices
- Complete work orders upon completion of each job
- Train operators to maintain vehicles while in the field
- Field service calls as required to support our fleet
- Ensure the shop is maintained and clean
What you bring to the Team:
- 2-3 years industry experience
- Provide your own tools for shop use
- Registered HET Apprentice or Journeyperson in Alberta (or province transferrable) is required
- Safe driving skills; driver's abstract will be required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Skilled in problem-solving techniques
- Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol Test
- CVIP License an asset but not required
- Class 1 or 3 license an asset but not required
- Field service experience an asset but not required
- H2S, First Aid an asset but will supply
