Join our team as a Carpenter's Apprentice in Edmonton for an exciting start in commercial building construction. Experience in concrete formwork or GC carpentry is a plus, but all applicants are encouraged.
As a Carpenter's Apprentice, you will participate in various construction tasks, from building forms to installing safety barriers. This position emphasizes safety and teamwork, requiring participation in meetings and hazard assessments regularly. Each day will offer new challenges in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Construct and pour concrete forms as directed
• Safely operate necessary tools for construction duties
• Install temporary hoarding and guardrails
• Conduct daily tool-box safety talks
• Keep work areas organized and hazard-free
Requirements:
• Prior experience in concrete work preferred
• Must possess your own tools
• Valid trade registration or certification for apprentices
• Strong teamwork and safety-first attitude
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg
