Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated operators to be a part of our earthworks project in St. Albert. We are looking for heavy equipment operators with experience operating Excavators, Rock Trucks, Packers, Graders, and Dozers. We are looking for accuracy, diligence, and a strong dedication to safety for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate excavators safely and efficiently for bulk excavation, trenching, stripping, loading, back filling, and site preparation on civil earthworks projects.
  • Perform finish grading and detailed excavation to achieve required elevations, slopes, grades, and tolerances according to plans and survey requirements.
  • Read and interpret site plans, grade stakes, GPS/machine control systems, and survey information to ensure accurate excavation and grading.
  • Complete daily equipment inspections, basic maintenance, and housekeeping, reporting any deficiencies or mechanical issues promptly.
  • Work closely with Foremen, Superintendents, survey crews, and other equipment operators while following company safety policies, procedures, and Alberta OH&S requirements.

Requirement for all jobs

  • Earthwork construction experience are required.
  • High attention to detail is required.
  • Pay to be determined by skill and experience.
  • Ensure compliance with all Company policies, OH & S Legislation, and WCB reporting procedures.
  • Understand and maintain quality and production standards and work to achieve established production goals.
  • Physically able to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs safely and repeatedly as required in the construction environment.
  • Must have your own transportation.
  • Must have own steel-toes safety boots.
  • Seasonal, full-time, and weekends
