Join the Construction Division at Black & McDonald as a Sheet Metal Worker Apprentice. This position provides hands-on learning opportunities in HVAC installations and sheet metal fabrication. You will utilize your strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail to deliver top-quality craftsmanship in every project.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and assemble HVAC ductwork and architectural sheet metal
• Read and apply engineering drawings accurately
• Conduct thorough quality inspections on sheet metal work
• Collaborate with team members and uphold safety protocols
• Utilize hand and power tools for detailed tasks
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent mandatory
• Active enrollment in the Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship
• Experience with blueprint reading is a plus
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
