What You Bring to the Table
Minimum of 3+ years of mulcher operating experience
Experience in Oil & Gas and Firesmart (fuel reduction) would be an asset
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean abstract
Required Safety Tickets:
Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO, WHMIS, and TDG
Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment
Willingness and ability to work outdoors for long hours (10+ hours per day) in various weather conditions
Valid chainsaw ticket and experience would be an asset
Ability to manage projects would be an asset
About the Opportunity
This work includes, but is not limited to, the safe and efficient operation of specialized mulching machinery, equipment maintenance, and executing brushing jobs across Alberta
Safely and efficiently operate machinery including Fecon FTX
300, Lamtrac LTR 6125, and CAT 299D3 Skid-Steer mulchers
Perform daily maintenance, pre-trip inspections, and basic mechanical repairs on equipment
Complete projects with no damage to desirable vegetation and minimal soil compaction/rutting
Navigate challenging, remote, and sensitive terrain safely
Complete all other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
