Underground Mainline Excavator Operator

Join Blackline Civil Inc. as an Underground Mainline Excavator Operator in Alberta. This full-time role focuses on the precise installation of water, sanitary, and storm systems.

As an experienced Excavator Operator, you will play a key role in our civil construction team. Your expertise in reading grades, trenching, and safe excavation practices will ensure projects are completed accurately and safely. Collaborating closely with grade crews, you will handle tasks that uphold safety standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate excavators for underground utility installations

• Excavate trenches using laser and GPS guidance

• Collaborate with pipe layers and grade personnel

• Follow safe trenching and shoring practices

• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of equipment

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in civil construction

• Proficient in deep utilities and trenching operations

• Experience with laser and GPS systems

• Valid driver’s license (Class 5 minimum)

• Strong understanding of excavation safety practices
