Heavy Duty Mechanic at SSR Mining

This role reports to the Supervisor, Maintenance, requiring independent handling of thorough repairs on both underground and surface equipment. You will interpret work orders, perform servicing tasks, and ensure machinery operates efficiently. Your proactive approach to safety and teamwork will drive your success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with budget and time constraints

• Maintain, service, and overhaul mining equipment

• Troubleshoot and identify mechanical issues

• Provide training and guidance to other mechanics

• Assist with parts forecasting for maintenance needs

Requirements:

• Interprovincial Heavy Duty trade certification

• 4-5 years of relevant equipment experience

• Experience with Alimak systems preferred

• Prior underground work experience beneficial

• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
