Electrician-2nd Year

An opportunity currently exists for an Apprentice Electrician. We are offering a competitive hourly rate, benefits and RRSP matching (after probationary period). The position is based in Nisku. This is an in-town position with regular Monday to Friday scheduling, regularly scheduled overtime and the majority of the work is indoors.

You will work directly with the maintenance department in a structural steel and crane fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

• Registered Electrical Apprentice
• Able to read schematic diagrams and blue prints
• Competent electrical knowledge.
• Practical knowledge of Inverters and electrical controls.
• Experience with cable glanding and terminating.
• A diligent worker who can operate within a team or autonomously as required.
• A keenness to continue training on new equipment and legislation.
• Working at a heights
