Red Seal Electricians in High Level troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems while keeping sawmill equipment safe, reliable, and operational.
Tolko seeks a Red Seal Electrician for its largest sawmill in High Level, Alberta. This role applies electrical expertise across preventative maintenance, installations, upgrades, motors, hydraulic motion controls, optimizers, and encoders. You will also support maintenance projects and programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot electrical issues using PLC and HMI knowledge
Develop safe, reliable fixes for equipment problems
Perform preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades
Work with motors, controls, optimizers, and encoders
Improve equipment reliability through innovative solutions
Requirements:
Valid Interprovincial electrician ticket
Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
Experience with CMMS, preferably JD Edwards
Ability to work independently and with a team
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Bring Red Seal credentials, PLC expertise, and electrical troubleshooting skills to Tolko’s High Level sawmill operations.
