Apply and smooth plaster and stucco while creating weatherproof exterior surfaces for buildings. Work includes surface preparation, plaster mixing, and detailed finishing.
This Stucco Plasterer position involves applying, leveling, and smoothing plaster coats across interior and exterior surfaces. Duties include curing freshly plastered surfaces, spraying acoustic or texture materials, and mixing plaster ingredients to the desired consistency. The work may also include ornamental plaster installation and decorative finishes.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply, level, and smooth plaster coats
- Trowel or spray stucco over building exteriors
- Clean and prepare surfaces before plastering
- Cure freshly plastered surfaces
- Mix plaster ingredients to desired consistency
- One year to less than two years of experience
- Interest in precision working and accurate finishing
- Interest in installing corner beads and wire mesh
- Ability to work at heights and remain physically fit
- Interest in attaching metal and gypsum lath
Use plastering, stucco application, surface preparation, and finishing skills across building surfaces and exterior projects.
