Overview
Fountain Tire Edson is searching for a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced
Service Manager
to manage the operations of the service department to drive productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction.

As a Service Manager, your duties will include:
- Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services
- Setting quality standards and maintaining the quality of all shop activities
- Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians
- Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up
- Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers
- Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work
- Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner
- Advising technicians of work that must be completed
- Ensuring technicians compliance with company standardsregardingquality, safety, and customer service
- Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop
Our ideal candidate has/is:
- 5+ years
of automotive industry experience - Dedication to providing exceptional customer service
- Proven leadership ability, with a strong focus on operations and business processes
- Commercial vehicle inspection program and out of province inspection certifications
- High level of integrity and accountability
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
- Strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Continuously looking to learn and use new skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements
- Flexible, patient, and calm when working with tight schedules
