Maintenance III - Journeyman Electrician

Position: Maintenance III – Journeyman Electrician

Location: Hinton Zone

Start Date: Immediately or upon mutually agreed date

Hours of work: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm inclusive

Wage: $40.80 – $44.80, in accordance with the CUPE Collective Agreement. This opportunity will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Summary: The successful candidate will provide electrical services to the Facilities Department and work under the direction and supervision of the Director of Facilities.

• All related general electrical duties
• Maintain Fire Alarm Systems
• Maintain Building Control Systems

• Alberta Journeyman Certification in Electrical
• Experience with Building Control Systems and Instrumentation would be an asset
• Extensive experience with Roof Top Heating & Cooling units and Boiler Controls
• Computer experience
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s license
• Physically able to perform all aspects of the job
• Must reside or be willing to relocate to the Hinton area

• Current RCMP Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
• Current Alberta Government Child Intervention Record Check
• Evidence of a Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
