Experienced Forestry Equipment Operator Needed

Backwoods Energy Services is looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join a committed team. Candidates should have at least 2 years of operating experience and be proficient with equipment such as Forestry Mulchers and Processors. This role emphasizes safety and operational excellence while supporting general labor responsibilities as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forestry equipment including Skidders and Excavators safely

• Perform daily equipment checks and routine maintenance

• Clear land and manage timber according to safety standards

• Report mechanical problems and maintain equipment cleanliness

• Assist with labor tasks when heavy equipment is not in use

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience operating relevant equipment

• Clean Class 5 Driver's License required

• Certifications in Standard First Aid and CSTS 2020

• Ground Disturbance Level II training

• Ability to work in varied weather conditions
