What You Will Do

  • To provide fast and accurate reports of food purchases.
  • To be responsible for proper money handling techniques of all payment transaction in the University Center Food Service areas.
  • This position reports directly to the Administrator III responsible for cashiers.

FLSA:
Non-Exempt

Hours Mon-Wed 10am-6pm / Thurs-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm

Minimum Acceptable Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
-Must be able to count change without the assistance of a calculator. Arithmetical ability.

Illinois Residency Requirement:
Pursuant to the State Universities Civil Service System, out-of-state candidates must establish Illinois residency within 180 calendar days of the start date for this position.

Illinois residency requires proof of a valid Illinois Driver's License or state of Illinois . Failure to produce the required documentation within 180 calendar days is grounds for immediate separation.
