Admissions and Records Officer (CS26-268)
Salary: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 Annually •
Location: Edwardsville, IL •

Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) invites applications for the position of Admissions and Records Officer. The role is responsible for evaluating undergraduate applicant credentials, interpreting admission policies, managing records, and supporting admissions-related activities across the campus.
Responsibilities- Evaluate credentials to determine eligibility for admission for all undergraduate applicants.
- Prepare and analyze records; serve as a professional specialist in admissions and records activities.
- Train staff in assigned duties and provide expertise on admissions/records functions.
- Interpret admission policies and procedures; counsel and advise applicants on academic requirements.
- Cooperate with the Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions, and Admissions/Records Coordinator on policy and procedural matters.
- Participate in prospective and new student activities across campus; compose written materials related to assigned duties and help develop departmental procedures and manuals.
- Ensure a complete understanding of university admission policies and guidelines to make appropriate admission decisions.
- Support the timely enrollment process to help the Admissions Office meet its goals.
- A. Coursework in any discipline as measured by the following conversion table:
- 30 semester hours = 1 year (12 months)
- 60 semester hours or an Associates Degree = 1.5 years (18 months)
- 90 semester hours = 2 years (24 months)
- 120 semester hours or a Bachelor’s degree = 3 years (36 months)
- B. Work experience in administrative support, admissions and enrollment, customer service, public relations, records management, or closely related experience.
