Complete performance evaluations of bridges through analysis of deflection, stress, + strain. Ensure compliance of bridge code within all designs. National travel to conferences, trainings + client sites + local travel for site visits is possible, not to exceed 60 days per year or 5 days in a single trip. Wage: $115,627. Alternatively, must have Masters in Civil or Structural Engineering, 3 years rel exp working on bridge-related design projects, and required skills (3 years exp). Required skills include: constructions techniques, materials science, and hydraulics; safety standards; project management; CAD; and relevant engineering codes and standards. Must hold Professional Engineer certification. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable.
