This organization is a well-established, family-owned electrical contractor with over a century of experience in delivering complex infrastructure projects. They specialize in large-scale electrical construction and renewable energy, particularly utility-scale solar developments. Known for their strong safety culture and hands-on project execution, they provide full-service project delivery from pre-construction through commissioning while offering long-term stability and growth opportunities.
Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, suppliers, utilities, inspectors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop detailed project schedules, track progress against milestones, and adjust plans as needed to maintain on‑time delivery.
Lead onsite construction activities, coordinating closely with superintendents, foremen, and field crews to maintain productivity, quality, and safety.
Create, manage, and maintain comprehensive project budgets, forecasts, and cost‑to‑complete reports for assigned projects.
Track labor, equipment, materials, and subcontractor costs to ensure alignment with financial targets and contractual obligations.
Review and approve invoices, change orders, and purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and proper documentation.
Identify cost‑saving opportunities and proactively mitigate financial risks through effective planning, negotiation, and change management.
Provide regular financial and project performance reporting to leadership, highlighting variances, risks, and recommended corrective actions.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, verify quality, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
Support field teams with technical guidance on electrical construction, problem‑solving in the field, and resource planning.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, electrical codes, industry standards, and company safety policies on all job sites.
Coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring all required documentation and approvals are obtained.
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve design issues, review constructability, and implement design changes efficiently.
Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities clearly and proactively to internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, utilities, inspectors, vendors, and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
Act as an onsite leader with responsibilities similar to a construction manager while retaining full accountability as the project manager for all aspects of the project.

Demonstrated ability to develop and manage project schedules and drive projects to meet critical milestones.
Proficiency in project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, including cost‑to‑complete analysis.
Ability to review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and change orders with strong attention to detail.
