Consumer Loan Underwriter – Indirect Lending – Edwardsville, IL – Up to $20/hr this is an on‑site position with a benefits package.

• Underwrites and makes a determination to approve or deny indirect loans within authorized limits.
• Ensures documents are complete and accurate according to policies and compliance regulations.
• Assists with reporting, task management, dealer engagement promotions, and other job‑related duties as assigned.
• Analyzes a loan applicant's creditworthiness by reviewing credit bureau reports and credit scores.
• Enters application data into the lending software and core systems.
• Responsible for dealer relationship building through dealer visits and phone calls.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Two years of similar or related experience in the lending environment.
• Knowledge of lending software and data processing systems.
• Knowledge of legislation, regulation, policies, and procedures pertaining to lending practices.
