Job Summary

The Manager, Finance provides support and manages resources across different regions, including financial reporting and control, income and debt management, submitting invoices for accounts payable, and accurately billing clients for services rendered. The Manager also oversees the functions performed by the Accounting Assistant, Financial Analysts, and other assigned financial staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Developing financial strategies: analyze revenue, expenses, investments, and risks to create a financial strategy.
  • Perform analytical reviews of financial information to identify trends or opportunities.
  • Recommend improvements to drive cost efficiencies while balancing operational needs and capabilities.
  • Work with Operations to develop budgets and forecasts for financial performance.
  • Create forecasts: use historical data to generate future scenarios.
  • Report actual results and analysis versus plan.
  • Assist operations regarding cost budgets, quarterly forecasts, and other financial planning activities.
  • Prepare reports: create documents to explain financial recommendations to senior management.
  • Facilitate the accurate and timely preparation of internal financial reporting and analysis.
  • Publish periodic financial reports, including accounts payable, freight, and consumable metrics.
  • Set goals: help establish financial goals and create a roadmap to achieve them.
  • Participate in special projects, such as process improvement and financial tools development and implementation.
  • Manage financial process improvements, KPIs, and tracking of strategic initiatives.
  • Support internal and external financial and system audits.
  • Manage resources: develop and oversee assigned personnel effectively.
  • Plan, organize, and manage own workload to ensure timely contributions to monthly financial reporting.
  • Ensure swift payment of invoices.
  • Collect and confirm accuracy of all charges and expenses for billing.
  • Manage the accounts payable process: coordinate purchasing and tracking of vendor invoices, and manage associated revenue accruals.
  • Execute month‑end close responsibilities: journal entries, corporate submissions, expense management, budgetary support for cost centers, and ad‑hoc analysis.
  • Prepare month‑end journal entries focused on cost accruals.
  • Complete the monthly Client Profitability Model.
  • Attend required meetings and document and distribute minutes.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional, mature, discreet, and secure manner.
  • Create and disseminate various communications and reports.
  • Assist with the design and development of presentations.
  • Effectively communicate with employees, customers, suppliers, and others on behalf of site management.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize operations, assets, and investments.
  • Produce cost quotes, strategic business cases, risk assessments, and other ad‑hoc analyses to support the business.
  • Schedule and meet with vendors to maintain competitive pricing.
Compensation

Expected base pay range: $ – $ annual.
