Thursday – Monday – 3rd Shift (Night/Overnight)

Welcome Center Clerk

Thursday-Monday 3:00pm-11:00pm

Located in the north end of Gateway Commerce Industrial Park

• Inspect inbound and outbound trailers/containers.
• Document individuals entering and leaving the yard.
• Maintain control of Bills of Lading (BOLs) and trailer/container inspection sheets.
• Interact with drivers courteously, respectfully, and professionally.
• Check trailers/containers in and out using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Coordinate with clerical and workflow staff.
• Answer phone calls from internal and external customers.
• Maintain access control and driver logs.
• Perform yard audits and reconcile yard status with WMS data.
• Prioritize and manage a high volume of emails at shift start and throughout the day.
• Enforce safety policies including PPE, pedestrian traffic, speed limits, and site‑specific rules.
• Report safety and security issues promptly.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

• Must follow policies and procedures.
• Must read, write, and interpret information.
• Must add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
• Must sit, walk, or stand for the duration of the shift.
• Must possess visual acuity to perform essential job functions.
• Must conduct physical tasks with a full range of motion throughout the warehouse environment.
• Must lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.
