We're looking for Registered Nurses (RN) for an immediate travel opening in Edwardsville, IL at our Rehabilitation Hospital.

The right RN should have at least 1 year of experience in a rehabilitation setting.

• Provide direct care to patients with neurological, orthopedic, or other rehabilitation needs, including stroke recovery, spinal cord injuries, joint replacements, or brain injuries.
• Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other members of the rehab team to develop and implement personalized care plans that support patient recovery goals.
• Regularly assess patients' physical and mental condition, monitor vital signs, neurological function, and progress in therapy, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications as prescribed, monitor for side effects, and ensure proper dosage and timely delivery. Assist with pain management strategies to promote patient comfort during rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and families about recovery goals, rehabilitation techniques, safety precautions, and strategies to promote independence in daily activities.
• Respond to medical emergencies, including sudden changes in condition, respiratory distress, or cardiac issues, and act quickly to stabilize patients when needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, treatments, and progress toward rehabilitation goals in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Assist with discharge planning, ensuring patients and families are prepared for post-discharge care, including home modifications, continued therapies, and follow-up appointments.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, case managers, social workers) to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's needs.

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN in a rehabilitation setting.
• Current BLS certification (additional certifications may be required).
• Eligibility for state licensure.
• Ability to stand or walk for long periods and bend, stoop, and lift with proper body mechanics.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and skilled in promoting recovery and independence.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend to be determined.
