The SIUE School of Nursing is accepting applications for full‑time, non‑tenure academic year term instructor appointments for the 2026‑2027 academic year. Full‑time faculty are expected to demonstrate competent teaching across the curriculum—including didactic, clinical, and online settings—and to maintain a program of scholarship relevant to nursing practice, the nursing profession, or the education of nurses. In addition, faculty are expected to engage in service to the School of Nursing and related constituencies that support the university mission.

Required:

• Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) required;
  Doctorate preferred.
• At least 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• Doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNS, DNSc, DNP) required for any graduate faculty position.
• RN licensure in Illinois and Missouri.

Preferred:

• Previous teaching experience in a baccalaureate program.
• Research experience.
• Specialty areas such as pediatrics, maternal‑child, public health, medical‑surgical, nurse practitioner, health‑care informatics, nursing administration, or school nurse education.
• Practice experience in the specialty area applied for.

Programs are CCNE accredited.
