DescriptionThe SIUE School of Nursing is accepting resume packages for full‑time, non‑tenure, academic year term instructor appointments for the academic year. As a full‑time faculty member, you are expected to demonstrate competent teaching across the curriculum—didactic, clinical, and online—within our graduate and/or undergraduate programs. In addition, full‑time faculty must maintain a program of scholarship relevant to nursing practice, the nursing profession, or nurse education, and engage in service to the School of Nursing and other constituencies that support the institution’s mission.

Master’s of Science in Nursing is required; doctorate preferred. Two (2) years of clinical nursing experience are required. Doctorate degrees (PhD, EdD, DNS, DNSc, DNP) are required for any graduate faculty position. Previous teaching experience in a baccalaureate program and research experience are preferred but not required. Specialized experience in pediatrics, maternal‑child, public health, medical‑surgical, nurse practitioner, health care informatics, nursing administration, or school nurse education is highly desirable.
Practice experience in the specialty area being applied for is required, as is RN licensure in Illinois and Missouri. Programs are CCNE accredited.
