QualificationsMaster’s of Science in Nursing required; doctorate preferred. Two (2) years of experience in clinical nursing. Doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNS, DNSc, DNP) is required for any graduate faculty position. Previous teaching experience in a baccalaureate program and research experience preferred but not required. Pediatrics, maternal child, public health, medical‑surgical, nurse practitioner, health care informatics, nursing administration, or school nurse education and experience is highly desirable.
Practice experience in the specialty area being applied for is required as is RN licensure in Illinois and Missouri. Programs are CCNE accredited.
