at 11:59 PM Eastern TimeDescriptionThe SIUE School of Nursing is accepting resume packages for full-time, non-tenure, academic year term instructor appointments for the academic year. As a full-time faculty member in the School of Nursing, there is an expectation to demonstrate competent teaching across the curriculum, including didactic, clinical, and online settings and in our graduate and/or undergraduate programs. Full-time faculty are also expected to maintain a program of scholarship relevant to the practice of nursing, the nursing profession, and/or the education of nurses and to engage in service to the School of Nursing and other constituencies relevant to the mission of the organization.

QualificationsMaster’s of Science in Nursing required; doctorate preferred. Two (2) years of experience in clinical nursing. Doctorate (PhD, EdD, DNS, DNSc, DNP) is required for any graduate faculty position. Previous teaching experience in a baccalaureate program and research experience preferred but not required. Pediatrics, maternal child, public health, medical‑surgical, nurse practitioner, health care informatics, nursing administration, or school nurse education and experience is highly desirable.
Practice experience in the specialty area being applied for is required as is RN licensure in Illinois and Missouri. Programs are CCNE accredited.
