Overview
Crescent Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring Production / Operational processes to meet Safety, Quality, Regulatory & Customer standards in a regulated cGMP environment. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for cGMP compliance and recording daily quality inspection activities to ensure the manufacture of top-quality, conforming product (against customer specifications).
Responsibilities- Read and understand the Crescent Safety Playbook – Doing It Safe
- Ensure Safe and well-maintained work environment and conditions throughout all work spaces, facility and surrounding areas
- Actively participate in Safety Sentinels and engage all staff and employees in cultivating and promoting a Safety-First Culture
- Participate in Crescent talent selection, talent development and recognition processes
- Train and mentor Quality staff. Recognize and develop people so that all have the opportunity to meet their greatest potential while proactively addressing areas of conflict and underperformance
- Promote a work environment where Crescent people are valued and can safely communicate, grow and develop
- Support and review material and workflow processes to ensure design quality and maximize production efficiencies
- Champion the Crescent Culture of Doing it Right, Doing it Safe and Doing it Well and abide by all written and understood policies and procedures
- Identify, drive and support all Continuous Improvement (CI) efforts
- All other duties as assigned, including but not limited to the identification and training of an individual capable of successfully completing all stated Key Responsibilities as appropriate to maintain integrity of position for progression planning and coverage during times of absence
- Support auditing compliance to Crescent QMS to ensure quality programs and systems are intact and meet regulatory and customer requirements
- Support all applicable internal & external (third party, customer and regulatory) quality audits and visits
- Measure, monitor and report quality KPIs (Process Accuracy)
- Participate as an active member of the Project Start Up Team to ensure quality considerations and design quality have been implemented prior to new project start
- Support any new production specifications and requirements and train staff to ensure top quality (in specification) production and QA inspection
- Support Lean Manufacturing and 5S activities driving quality CI initiatives
- Perform batch record review and batch release as required
- Ensure processes, programs and controls are intact and executed against to deliver top quality product to all Crescent customers
- Safeguard site process accuracy KPI to meet established targets
- Improve organizational efficiency and waste reduction
- Support auditing compliance to Crescent QMS to ensure Quality Programs and Systems are intact and meet Regulatory and Customer requirements
- Basic Math and Reading

Pack Manager, Qcloud, Quick Base
Education & Experience: High School diploma or GED; ability to use a computer or tablet; ability to communicate effectively through oral and written communications
Preferred Qualifications- Regulatory cGMP manufacturing experience
- Experience with ERP / MRP Systems
- Support applicable cGMP & Customer compliant operations
- Help prevent cGMP or customer specification deviations from occurring
