Responsibilities
  • Manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or with power equipment.
  • Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.
  • Provide basic maintenance to equipment: clean, inspect.
  • Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap and freight for damage, cutting shrink wrap as needed, and maintaining records, logs and forms.
  • Organize warehouse using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns, e.g., pallet storage trailers, up/stacking, down/stacking empty pallets and up/down stacking freight.

Hourly Wage

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.60 - $26.10. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
