Forklift Operator II

Shift: Sunday - Wednesday - 3rd Shift (Night/Overnight)

The Forklift Operator II is primarily responsible for safely operating complex powered material handling equipment, including High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp, and Double Fork Truck, for the purpose of product receipt, storage, and order fulfillment. This position is responsible for product safety, quality, legality, and integrity.

• Full case order picking for replenishment, customer orders, and packaging components.
• Pallet retrieval and put away in narrow aisle bulk rack storage system.
• Quality control to ensure accuracy of all transactions.
• Use of wire guidance systems for navigating narrow aisles where applicable.
• Loading and unloading of pallets and cases from trucks and conveyor lines, by hand or equipment.
• Sorting, building and wrapping products with pallets to ensure compliance with customer expectations.
• Maintain accuracy of storage locations by performing daily cycle counts and routine inventory maintenance tasks.
• Perform other distribution work functions as needed due to business volume and need.
• Adhering to strict OSHA safety rules.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience with daily power equipment operations, preferred. 6-month minimum is required.
• Must meet all PPE and fall protection requirements.
• Ability to operate powered complex material handling equipment:
  High Reach, Order Picker, Drexel/Turret Swing Mast, Clamp, and Double Fork Truck.
• Comfortable working on equipment at extended heights.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and coordination.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service driven.
• Strong team player.

• Ability to lift/carry items up to 50 pounds.
