Job Responsibilities
Manage freight flow by moving, scanning, and handling freight manually and/or using power equipment.
Maintain merchandise supply by replenishing pallets of merchandise onto/from racks or docks using warehouse systems or through verbal instructions.
Provide basic maintenance to equipment (clean, inspect).
Ensure freight quality by processing stray and damaged cases, inspecting pallets, shrink wrap, and freight for damage; cutting shrink wrap as needed and maintaining records, logs, and forms.
Organize warehouse by using power equipment to remove pallets from pallet returns (e.g., pallet storage trailers, up stacking/downstacking empty pallets and freight).
Various schedules may be available; details will be discussed during interview process.

The hourly wage range for this position is $22.60 – $26.10. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid up to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances; premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season or specific work performed.
