General Nature of Position

A Routing Clerk coordinates between operational departments such as Fulfillment, Shipping, and Returns to manage customer orders and dispatch freight. The role handles administration, prepares shipping documents, researches discrepancies, maintains records, and follows customer guidelines.

• 90%:
  Logistics administration in road transport and shipping, including preparing shipments, resolving complaints, ensuring timely shipment, and maintaining accurate records.
• 10%:
  General housekeeping of the warehouse/department and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment.

• Valid Driver’s License.
• Preferred experience working in dispatch.
• Knowledge of warehouse related software.
• Experience using a WMS (Warehouse Management System) is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word).
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read, write, and speak simple correspondence in English.
• Proficiency with RF Scanner, computer, High Jump, and Caja.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs, bend, stand, and walk repeatedly.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Basic math skills.
• Willingness to cross‑train outside of immediate department.
• High levels of dependability.
• Ability to work overtime, holidays, and in fast‑paced environments.
• Ability to use corrugate safely.

The job requires standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs on a regular basis. The employee must perform routine tasks such as lifting, carrying, climbing, and occasionally squatting, kneeling, or climbing. Vision, hearing, and breathing requirements include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work is performed near moving equipment and mechanical parts in outdoor weather conditions. The environment may contain moderate noise and occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Office and warehouse activities may vary in intensity from sedentary to arduous depending on seasonal demand.

The hourly salary range is $20.91–$23.51, adjusted for location, experience, and additional factors.
