Manufacturing Controller

Seeking an experienced Controller to lead all accounting and financial activities for a manufacturing facility. This hands‑on role partners closely with operations and production leaders while overseeing financial reporting, cost accounting, and internal controls.

• Manage month‑end close and prepare financial statements.
• Maintain the general ledger, journal entries, reconciliations, and cash activity.
• Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and fixed asset accounting.
• Lead inventory and cost accounting, including cycle counts, BOM validation, and variance analysis.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting for leadership.
• Coordinate annual audits and maintain internal controls.
• Manage sales/use tax filings and other regulatory reporting.
• Partner with operations to analyze production costs and improve financial performance.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and support to corporate finance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• 7+ years of accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Strong background in cost accounting, standard costing, and plant-level finance.
• Knowledge of GAAP, inventory accounting, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage accounting processes independently in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
