Job Purpose / Summary

Ensures roofing projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards while maintaining a positive customer experience. Oversees project planning, documentation, subcontractor management, and customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Review
  • Review job pictures, special instructions, and contracts to ensure project scopes are accurate and realistic.
  • Verify subcontractor invoices and confirm all billed work is completed.
  • Coordinate project plans, material orders, and required documentation before approval.
Insurance & Documentation Oversight
  • Review and update insurance roofing, siding, and other trade orders for accuracy.
  • Confirm material quantities and specifications are correct.
  • Manage insurance window orders, including scheduling measurements and verifying materials.
  • Partner with the Estimating Manager to obtain documentation for insurance reimbursement.
Project Execution & Support
  • Identify and correct productivity or efficiency issues.
  • Provide recommendations to sales, production, and operations regarding best practices.
  • Visit jobsites to document issues and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support operations personnel to ensure they understand job responsibilities and deadlines.
Customer Communication & Issue Resolution
  • Communicate with homeowners about required corrections and recommended plans of action.
  • Handle escalated customer disputes constructively and professionally.
Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of roofing and siding best practices, materials, and installation techniques.
  • Familiarity with insurance supplementing processes.
  • Proficiency in project coordination and documentation.
  • Strong organization, detail orientation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with basic computer tools and CRM/project management systems.
  • Strong customer service skills and experience handling escalations.

Education & Experience
  • 3+ years of direct experience in construction, roofing, or siding required.
  • 3+ years of operations or project management experience preferred.
  • Strong background in project planning, subcontractor coordination, and insurance documentation.
Work Environment
  • Combination of office and field-based work.
  • Requires ability to navigate jobsites, climb ladders, and document roofing issues.
Safety & Compliance Requirements
  • Must comply with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and company safety protocols.
