# Paramedic Hot Job Effingham Office - Effingham, IL 62401## Overview Salary Range $73,000.00 - $ Salary/year## Description We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in emergency medicine and critical care transport, with experience in both Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing high-quality pre-hospital care to patients in various emergency situations, ensuring their safety and well-being during transport to medical facilities.

Must have a Illinois, Missouri, or National Paramedic license.

Responsibilities
* Assess patients' conditions and provide appropriate emergency medical care based on established protocols.
* Administer medications and perform advanced life support techniques as needed.
* Utilize medical terminology and physiology knowledge to communicate effectively with healthcare professionals.
* Operate and maintain emergency medical equipment, including DME (Durable Medical Equipment).
* Ensure aseptic technique is followed during all procedures to prevent infection.
* Collaborate with other healthcare providers in the hospital setting to facilitate patient care.
* Document all patient interactions, treatments administered, and outcomes accurately in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with best practices in emergency medicine.## Qualifications
* Current Paramedic certification from an accredited program.
* Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
* Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is preferred.
* Knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and critical care transport procedures.
* Familiarity with medical terminology, physiology, and medication administration techniques.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-stress environments.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* Willingness to participate in continuous professional development opportunities.
