Job SummaryTo support our growing workforce and the increasing demands associated with employee benefits administration, attendance tracking, leave management, and regulatory compliance, we are recruiting a Benefits & Attendance Coordinator. This position will serve as a key point of contact for employees while helping to ensure accurate benefit administration, timely attendance reporting, and consistent application of company policies. The role will contribute to operational efficiency, employee engagement, and compliance with federal, state, and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities Benefits Administration- Administer and manage employee benefit programs including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and supplemental benefits.
- Manage open enrollment processes, including employee communication and system updates.
- Assist employees with benefit questions, claims issues, and eligibility concerns.
- Coordinate with benefits carriers and third-party administrators.
- Maintain accurate benefits records in HRIS systems.
- Process benefit changes such as new hires, terminations, qualifying life events, and dependent updates.
- Monitor and maintain accurate employee time and attendance records in the timekeeping system.
- Regularly update and audit timecards for accuracy and completeness.
- Correct discrepancies in timecards and coordinate with supervisors as needed.
- Generate and distribute attendance and labor reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company attendance policies and applicable labor laws.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring accurate time and attendance data.
- Assist with FMLA, ADA, Worker’s Compensation, and other leave administration tracking.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee data at all times.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, attendance, and benefits.
- Provide administrative support to the HR Department as required.
- AS in HR, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in HR, benefits administration, payroll, or timekeeping.
- Experience with ADP HCM a plus.
- Experience in manufacturing or high-volume hourly workforce environment strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of HRIS and timekeeping systems
- Understanding of benefits administration and payroll processes
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to handle employee inquiries professionally
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
