Summary
The Fork Lift Driver in Production is responsible for supplying various locations throughout the plant with the proper materials to complete the required daily production.
3:25pm-2am
The Fork Lift driver in the Distribution Center is responsible for pulling and/or loading trucks with product purchased by customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for the rotation of stock, ensuring that the oldest product is just first.
- Loading trucks with correct product types and damage‑free product.
- Sets up line- ensuring that totes are in the proper locations and product is ready to be processed.
- Dumps waste product / trash hoppers as necessary.
- Responsible for the unloading of raw product from trailers and trucks.
- Maintains current knowledge of location and quantity of products waiting to be processed.
- Conducts forklift inspections as required.
- Ensures that lines have the proper amount of product, in a timely manner, to minimize downtime.
- Records placement of goods, locations and amounts to ensure inventory control.
- Works with supervisors of various departments regarding product placement.
- Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEPrevious experience and proper forklift training and certification through McCall Farms- must pass written and driving tests.
LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate with others orally.
Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
