Manufacturing Associate - 1st shift

Local Manufacturing Company is seeking a 1st shift candidate for a Heavy Industrial position! Hours are 5:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday-Friday. Starting pay $18/hr operates precision CNC forming equipment in the Micro department, including Punch, Draw & Bulge (PD&B) and Burr Oak machines. This role is essential to the production of coil components and related products. As part of the production team, the employee supports department processes while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and team collaboration.

• Operates PD&B and Burr Oak CNC machines in accordance with standard operating instructions (SOI).
• Understands and complies with all internal and external customer requirements.
• Interprets technical drawings and blueprints to ensure proper machine operation.
• Maintains consistent quality of components produced, meeting all specifications.
• Documents inputs, outputs, and production data accurately.
• Sets up and adjusts machines for optimal performance.
• Uses precision measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, and micrometers.
• Performs housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, including end-of-shift cleanup.
• Prevents and reports any foreign object debris (FOD) or potential part damage.
• Participates in process improvements and maintains a positive and cooperative attitude.
• Follows all company safety policies and wears required PPE per OSHA standards.
• Assists in other areas and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

• Ability to speak and write fluent English.
• Ability to work overtime as required on short notice.
• History of dependability and responsibility in the workplace.
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Basic math skills and ability to read tape measures.
• Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read technical drawings and operate precision equipment.
• Cooperative attitude and strong team orientation

• Must be able to remain in a stationary 50% of the time working with a computer
• Must be able to move up to 15 pounds at times for various needs.
• Must be able to access all areas of the facility to determine needs.
• Normal factory/office environments involving seasonally fluctuating temperatures, dirt, dust, noise, move across the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
