Registered Nurse; RN Medical Surgical Unit

Pay Range

$34.00 - $51.00 per hour. The actual rate will reflect experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Part‑time nights, 2x12 schedule (24 hours per week), every other weekend rotation (currently every 4th) with required holiday rotation.

• Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends.
• Complete the nursing process in collaboration with physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
• Offer physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families.
• Supervise assigned team members.
• Promote patient independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about condition, medications, and self‑care skills.
• Answer questions and provide education as needed.
• Ensure quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards and measuring outcomes against goals and standards.
• Recommend and implement necessary adjustments in accordance with nursing philosophies and standards of care set by the state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agencies.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school approved for licensure in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.

• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice required.
• If in Wisconsin, valid multi‑state RN license under the Nurse Licensure Compact rules accepted.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
