Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - 6 am to 6 pm and 2 pm to 10 pm openings

Effingham Healthcare & Senior Living, the area's smallest skilled nursing facility, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. Hours available are 6 am to 6 pm or 2 pm to 10 pm. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to residents in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care.

This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
• Assist with medical documentation and ensure accurate records are maintained.
• Support patients with mobility needs including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols.

• Familiarity with EMR medical documentation systems is a plus.
• Experience in specialized areas such as memory care or hospice care is beneficial.
