Outside Sales Representative

Job Type: Full-Time, Salaried Employee

Schulte Supply, an established distributor of underground utility products, is seeking a sales representative in Eastern Illinois. An ideal candidate would either have experience in the water and sewer industry or be open to learning the intricate details about our various product lines. An ideal candidate would also be willing to build a positive rapport with customers and be willing to collaborate with product managers and other regional sales representatives.

We are looking for someone who will bring energy, dedication, and passion to this position. With our competitive commission package, the more you work, the higher your earning potential.

• Outcome #1:
  Add 15 new customer accounts annually.
• Outcome #2:
  In your first year, increase sales by 20%.
• Outcome #3:
  In collaboration with our Neptune Sales Manager, sell at least three Neptune Water Meter Systems annually.
• Forty percent overnight travel is required.
• Our sales representatives are expected to reside within the territory preferably close to metropolitan areas.
• A college degree in business, sales, or marketing is preferred but not required. Industry and technical experience can outweigh a college degree and/or sales experience.
• Sales representatives are expected to be on the road making sales calls 8 hours a day Monday through Friday and are held accountable via a tracking system in a company truck.

• Health Insurance: Schulte Supply pays 100% of employee premiums. The employee pays for dependents' coverage (if applicable).
• Health Insurance Savings: Company distributes $90 a month into a HSA that they can use for medical services only. Plus, employees can add to the HSA on a pre‑tax basis.
• Retirement Benefits: 401k plan with up to a 10% company match plus a profit sharing plan deposited into your 401k plan.
• Paid Time Off: Each employee receives 4 sick days for the first calendar year as well as 2 weeks vacation. These days are prorated based on when the employee is hired. After one full calendar year, employees receive 2 personal days, and an employee’s unused sick days turn into vacation days. 4 unused sick days turn into 6 vacation days. 3 unused sick days turn into 5 vacation days.
  
  2 unused sick days turn into 2 vacation days, and 1 unused sick day turns into 1 vacation day.
