The Business Development Executive position is responsible for developing and maintaining valuable relationships with players through marketing measures and exceptional customer service skills.
Responsibilities- Develop and create marketing campaigns at individual locations as well as for assigned route.
- Develop marketing strategies for assigned customers and assist with campaign production and execution.
- Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
- Resolve guest opportunities, conflicts, and complaints on behalf of the Company in a fair and equitable manner.
- Make decisions in conjunction with location owner on game placement, game type, and gaming area setup to maximize revenue and make recommendations to change placement, type, and setup based upon results.
- Meet assigned targets for profitable revenue volume and strategic objectives in assigned accounts.
- Develop in‑house design strategies to redesign gaming areas in order to maximize revenue and performance.
- Serve as liaison with municipalities and other local and state governmental institutions as necessary to assist clients with licensing needs.
- Make recommendations regarding contract terms while in the field to earn new business and secure agreements.
- Make cold calls on potential new locations, schedule face‑to‑face meetings to close deals and add customers to route of locations.
- Enthusiastically support, actively promote, and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Attend and aid in the coordination of special events.
- Provide professional representation on behalf of the Company at internal and external meetings and events.
- Ensure interactions with internal and external guests follow the guidelines of the customer service program.
- Adhere to all Corporate and local policies, procedures, and operating guidelines.
- Be responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and report potential issues to management.
- Must have intermediate computer knowledge; MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Sales Force (CMS); ACSC preferred.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Must have the ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and a high level of professionalism at all times.
- Must have the ability to write reports and business correspondence.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have the ability to identify problems, collect data, analyze, and draw valid conclusions.
- Must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.).
