Service Technician

Job Duties:

Perform routine preventative maintenance including fluids, grease, and electrical systems.

Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repair quotes when necessary

Resolve service problems by clarifying the issue; determining the cause of the problem; explaining the solution, and visiting the jobsite if necessary to correct the problem; following up to ensure resolution

Document service, deployment and removal of equipment by completing Salesforce reporting and BOL's.Maintains equipment, tools, and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability, cleanliness, organization and functioning of required items and ensuring safety

Establish a good rapport with customers

Ensure all parts meet specifications and quality requirements. Assists other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

Train customers on the basic operation of equipment

Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of required items

Take on additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Valid Illinois Driver's License and driving record in good standing.

Ability to prepare and maintain accurate records

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment

Ability to work well with others in a TEAM environment

Basic math skills

Flexible schedule with the ability to travel overnight 75% of the time.
