Store Associate

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They help shape the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities by providing exceptional customer service, supporting retail and pharmacy operations, and advocating for CVS services.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving service issues.
• Offer a warm, friendly greeting, maintain eye contact, and assist customers in locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties—handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of opportunities for growth and career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health.

• Remain upright on the feet for sustained periods.
• Lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently, and negligible force regularly to move items, including overhead lifting.
• Maintain visual acuity sufficient to view a computer terminal, read, and perform visual inspections involving small parts or details.
• Be at least 16 years of age.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer‑service setting.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Pay range: $15.92 – $22.92 per hour or equivalent base annual salary
