Excel Care at Egg Harbor is seeking an experienced Business Office Manager to oversee daily business office operations within our skilled nursing community. This role supports financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and exceptional service for residents and families.

Business Office Manager Responsibilities:

Manage accounts payable/receivable, resident trust funds, and daily reports

Maintain resident census and financial records for Medicare, Medicaid, and private pay Oversee insurance authorizations, billing, and medical record requests

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Supervise business office staff and assist with onboarding and benefits administration

Collaborate with department heads, vendors, and staffing teams

Support quality improvement reporting

Uphold Resident Rights and provide compassionate service

Business Office Manager

Qualifications:

Minimum 1 year of healthcare experience; skilled nursing or assisted living preferred

Associate’s degree required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Knowledge of healthcare billing and insurance processes

Strong organizational and communication skills

Full-time with weekend and emergency availability as needed
