As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is seeking a full-time Teacher of the Deaf and Hearing-Impaired to provide in-person services for public school students. This position is for the upcoming school year.
Teacher of the Hearing-Impaired Salary: $50-$60 per hour

Hours:
Anticipated dates: 10/19/26-3/19/27 Due to being maternity leave, there is possibility start date may be earlier than expected or end date be extended if needed but any changes will be notified Anticipated
Hours:
8:00am-3:00pm (up to 32.5 hrs/wk: 6.5 hrs/day billable, 30 min break) flexible for 9:00-4:00 some days if needed
Teacher of the Hearing-Impaired
Qualifications:
School Certification as a Teacher of the Hearing Impaired in New Jersey Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Teacher of the Hearing-Impaired Responsibilities May Include:
Evaluating and determining appropriate itinerant services based on student needs Providing ongoing support to teachers regarding the needs of the D/HOH student Recommending and assisting with adaptations for classroom instruction Providing direct services with the use of the appropriate mode of communication Using assistive technology with student
