RVE (an Ardurra company) is seeking a Water/Wastewater Senior Design Engineer to join our team in Egg Harbor Township, Secaucus, Morganville, Cherry Hill, NJ.
Clean, potable water and reliable wastewater treatment are more than modern conveniences; they are critical to human health. RVE and Ardurra have been leaders in this market since our founding, and water and wastewater improvements form a significant portion of our project portfolio.
Our team members are active in leading water and wastewater associations and often present on technical topics. RVE has designed and improved treatment plants for contaminants including PFNA, PFOA and PFOS, and we recently planned and designed the first plant in New Jersey to treat 1,4‑Dioxane.
Primary FunctionThis position will plan, design and perform analysis on water/wastewater engineering projects such as water main, sanitary main, pumping stations, and water & wastewater treatment facilities. The Design Engineer shall be self‑motivated, with good writing skills and capable of working in a team environment.
Primary Duties- Hydraulic calculations and layout of structures.
- Producing correspondence, reports, and biddable documents for arsenic, radium, and iron removal water plants; wells; water storage tanks; pumping stations; piping systems; and wastewater treatment plant improvements.
- Engineering support to our inspection department.
- Act as firm’s representative to townships, utility authorities, and private utility companies.
- Draft concise proposals for new work.
- Capable of addressing multiple simultaneous assignments, on‑time and within budgets.
- "Proactive" identification of problems/issues coupled with detailed analysis and effective resolution.
- Producing all deliverables associated with this position.
- Regulatory permitting.
- Bachelor’s degree or better in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field required.
- PE license required (highly valued).
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and pride in all assignments.
- Willingness to seek guidance to expedite deliverables.
- Ability to manage group and individual assignments simultaneously.
- Effective communication, management and writing skills.
- Proficient in Word/Excel.
- AutoCAD capability a plus.
Salary Range: $92,000.00 To $ Annually
