Job Description

Information Technology (IT) Specialist. Transform technology into opportunity by designing, configuring, installing, verifying, and maintaining program WANs, LANs, and supporting data management and validation tasks.

• Compile, arrange, store, and retrieve information to support customers, projects, or programs.
• Administer, evaluate, install, and maintain LANs and WANs.
• Provide graphical user interface access to databases using tools such as Java, CORBA, and C++.
• Design, test, and implement interface programs and develop security procedures.
• Perform planning, cost analysis, and all aspects of large‑scale projects.
• Design, test, and implement large‑scale LAN and WAN applications and troubleshoot problems.
• Coordinate network policy, procedures, and standards.
• Assist in training users.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• Proficiency in network management, cybersecurity fundamentals, system administration, data management, technical support, and cloud computing.
• Public Trust security clearance (or ability to obtain).
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem‑solving, self‑starter, and physical ability for installations in challenging locations.
• Highly collaborative and comfortable working in research environments with partial or incomplete requirements.
• On‑site location in Egg Harbor Township, NJ; optional work at Atlantic City, NJ.
• Must have or be able to obtain a U.S. passport.
• U.S. citizenship required.

Scheduled weekly hours: 40.

Travel required:

10–25%. Telecommuting options: onsite.

Work location:

USA, NJ Egg Harbor Township, with additional location possible in Atlantic City, NJ.
